McSherry to head up dispute resolution team

Euan McSherryLitigation lawyer Euan McSherry has been named as the new head of dispute resolution at Aberdein Considine.

Mr McSherry – a solicitor advocate with rights of audience in both the Court of Session and the UK’s Supreme Court – has joined the firm as a partner, based in Edinburgh.

He was previously a partner with DWF where he led the its litigation team in Scotland.

Mr McSherry has been involved in some of Scotland’s most high profile litigation cases over the past two decades, including the provision of contractual and litigation advice in complex cases involving SPFL football clubs.

More recently, he has handled a number of significant Court of Session cases, including acting for Serco in a £400million procurement challenge and representing pharmaceuticals giant Pfizer in two appeals to the Inner House.

Aberdein Considine managing partner, Jacqueline Law, said Mr McSherry’s arrival was a watershed moment for the partnership.
