Relocation to new park
BRE Scotland signs pre-let at Clyde Gateway
Construction consultancy BRE Scotland is the latest tenant at Clyde Gateway after signing a pre-let for the second floor at the new Red Tree Magenta building.
Red Tree Magenta – which opens in December – is the first building delivered by Clyde Gateway Developments Limited at Magenta, a new 27-acre urban business park situated next to the River Clyde and M74 motorway network.
Clyde Gateway Developments Limited is working in partnership with Highbridge Properties to develop the remainder of the park.
BRE’s move from East Kilbride to the 7,238sq ft Red Tree Magenta office will see 25 full-time jobs switch to Clyde Gateway and give it space to expand to an expected 50 staff over18 months. It will join property management company Speirs Gumley, which is set to relocate its 70-strong team from Glasgow city centre.
This is the third Red Tree building that Clyde Gateway has delivered, with its Red Tree Rutherglen and Bridgeton experiencing high levels of take-up.
Ian Manson, chief executive at Clyde Gateway, said: “This is a fantastic achievement to secure a high-profile, internationally recognised organisation like BRE as a tenant.”
David Kelly at BRE Scotland said: “When considering our relocation, our priorities were to move our Scottish office closer to Glasgow city centre, and to allow us the space to accommodate the significant job growth that we are expecting in the near future.”
