Promotion for Edinburgh partner
Hendron takes up global role at Saffery Champness
An Edinburgh-based partner, Ms Hendron specialises in international private client matters, advising a client base that includes entrepreneurs, high net worth individuals and family offices. In 2014, Ms Hendron was named as one of ePrivateClient’s Top 35 under 35.
Saffery Champness’ international practice group focuses on clients with interests in multiple jurisdictions, from across the firm’s key business areas including tax, audit, business advisory, corporate and overseas. Current initiatives include driving forward their family office offering as well as the firm’s growing China desk.
Ms Hendron will work closely with partners across the UK and in overseas offices in Guernsey, Geneva, Zurich and Dubai, as well as with the Nexia International network, of which Saffery Champness is a UK member.
Matthew Burton, managing partner at Saffery Champness, said: “Emma’s keen insight, strong client relationships and her wealth of knowledge and expertise make her superbly well placed to continue the development of our international client offering.”
Ms Hendron said: “In the global economy, the world is a much smaller place for our clients both corporate and personal, the majority of whom have international connections. At this time of heightened risk and increasing regulation, an international perspective has never been more important.”
Ms Hendron takes over the role from Clare Cromwell, who will now head up the firm’s London-based tax group.
