Aberdein Considine adds to specialist teams

Mackinnon and Di PaolaAberdein Considine has strengthened its private client and banking litigation teams with the appointment of a partner and an associate.

James MacKinnon (pictured far left) has joined the firm as partner and head of private client for Edinburgh. He was previously legal director at Gillespie Macandrew. John Di Paola (also pictured) joins an associate in the banking litigation team.

Mr MacKinnon has almost 15 years’ experience providing advice on a range of personal legal matters.

He is a member of STEP, serving as secretary on its Scottish Branch Committee and has tutored on the private client course of the diploma of legal practice at the University of Edinburgh.

Mr Di Paola joins the firm’s lender services practice group from the Ascent Performance Group. He will be based in the Waterloo Street office in Glasgow.
