RBS closing a further 54 branches in England and Wales
RBS is closing a further 54 Royal Bank of Scotland branches in England and Wales with the loss of 258 jobs.
They will shut in January 2019 and are in addition to 162 closures announced at the end of last year.
The bank said the closures are a result of the decision not to float off a new “challenger bank” under the name Williams & Glyn.
Itt said that there will be no further closures “until at least 2020.”
