Eddie Robb: new deal

Group bookings company, Make it Social, has signed a deal with Skiworld, the largest independent ski specialist in the UK.

The agreement follows partnerships with Ambassador Theatre Group, Ticketmaster and, most recently, The Ticket Factory.

It will enable those booking a ski holiday will be able to book as a group but pay individually.  Figures show that the ease of booking increases the average group size by six people.

Diane Palumbo, Skiworld’s director of sales and marketing said:  “Skiing is very much a shared activity. A recent industry report found that a third of skiers book holidays with friends.

“We are always looking for ways to make things smoother and simpler for customers and ‘make it social’ makes this possible.”

Make it Social founder Eddie Robb added:  “I am passionate about snowsports so am particularly excited to be opening this up to the skiing community via Skiworld.”
