New recruits at agency
Fore Digital adds to fast growing team
Stuart Stott: ‘amazing progress’
Marketing agency Fore Digital has embarked on an ambitious recruitment strategy to help maintain its rapid rate of growth.
The Glasgow-based firm has hired Brian Grassie as head of marketing, joining from Dog Digital. Stuart Lonsdale, arrives as creative director from Equator and Colin McNab from Big Partnership as commercial director.
Fore was launched by Stuart Stott in 2016 without borrowing or debt and has expanded swiftly from five employees at the end of year one to 22. By the end of next year it expects to be employing 40 and operating out of spacious new premises in the east end of Glasgow.
During that time turnover has almost tripled from 300,000 to £885,000 by the end of the 2016-17 financial year. The projected figure for 2017-18 is £2.25 million.
Fore Digital’s success has come on the back of winning major digital contracts in Scotland and abroad.
These include entertainment giant Global, Arnold Clark, Scottish Friendly, TGI Friday and Savills.
Mr Stott says: “While we have made amazing progress, we are committed to continual growth and innovation.
“Part of our strategy involves hiring the best and brightest talent available and creating our own academy to bridge the gap between higher education and the emerging technology sector.
“In terms of turnover we are well on target to break through the £2m barrier which, after just three years in business, is a remarkable feat.
“We have now outgrown our Sauchiehall Street premises and will be announcing our new headquarters. Expect custom VR and AR studios, Scotland’s most creative environment and a whole lot of innovative technology.”
