Comms chief steps down

McGill steps back from Scottish Engineering role

Scottish EngineeringScottish Engineering’s long-serving communications consultant Colin McGill will leave the trade body at the end of this week.

Mr McGill has served Scottish Engineering since 1991, initially as an employee and since 1996 as a consultant covering public affairs and communications. 

In a short statement Scottish Engineering chief executive Paul Sheerin, who took over from Bryan Buchan last summer, said: “Colin has been an invaluable support to this organisation, and I am especially grateful for his advice and direction to me for how we steer Scottish Engineering’s communications going forward.”
