BrewDog launches ‘beer porn’ video-on-demand network

The BrewDog Network

The new network promises to be ‘beer porn’

Craft beer company BrewDog has launched its own video-on-demand service offering a range of beer, food, travel and entertainment shows.

The subscription-based BrewDog Network is a mix of short interviews, games and product promotions in the usual anarchic style of the Aberdeenshire company.

Like other streaming services such as Netflix and Hulu, The BrewDog Network is available via the web and a stand-alone app on iOS and Android.

James Watt, cofounder of BrewDog, said: “Craft beer is our passion – it’s always been what turns us on. And with the launch of the new network we no longer have to keep it as our dirty little secret.

“Porn may be the most popular content on the web today – but we’re about to change that. Our awesome shows span beer and spirits, food and travel, and everything in between, to deliver maximum viewing pleasure.

“This is a new type of business. A new type of show business. This is BeerPorn.”

A previous TV show, ‘Brew Dogs’,was cancelled, and Watt says the BrewDog Network is a “genuine move to take the video-on-demand revolution to a new level.

“Just as Netflix has pioneered mainstream streaming services, The BrewDog Network will be the first globally-recognised, passion-focused platform.

“We believe craft beer can be the inspiration for the most popular content on the internet – maybe even more popular than videos of cats falling off walls or celebrity sex tapes.”
