Entrepreneur Fincham takes chair at SHE Software

Martin FinchamScottish technology firm SHE Software has appointed software entrepreneur Martin Fincham as chairman.

Mr Fincham joins after the company received a £3 million boost from NVM Private Equity and opened a centre of operations in Chicago.

He founded his first software company aged 24, then worked in Silicon Valley for five years. Most recently, he served as CEO of LANSA, a global B2B software vendor, with 200 staff across 13 offices serving 8,000 customers across the world, where he delivered a sevenfold increase in EBITDA.

CEO, Matthew Elson, said: “His impressive entrepreneurial credentials, expertise in global go-to market strategies and leadership experience make him a major asset to the company.”

He added that the company was focused on bringing its health and safety solution to the US market.

Mr Fincham said: “I have witnessed and participated in several segments of the enterprise software market when truly modern SaaS platforms have gained rapid customer acceptance and started displacing previous market leaders.

“SHE Software’s cloud-based Assure system is now recognised in the industry as one such disruptor, evidenced by their rapid growth and recent funding to support international expansion. I look forward to supporting Matthew and the team, sharing my experience of taking a software business to global scale.”
