New leadership team
Three women take top roles at whisky attraction
In good spirits: (l-r) Angela Dineen, Susan Morrison and Julie Trevisan Hunter
The Scotch Whisky Experience is marking its 30th anniversary by announcing the promotion of three women to lead the attraction.
Susan Morrison is appointed CEO alongside Julie Trevisan Hunter who becomes marketing director and Angela Dineen, operations director.
Each of the new executive directors has a long history with the attraction. Ms Morrison, who heads the 90-strong team, has worked there since it opened.
All three joined the business with similar academic backgrounds as modern language graduates. In her 15 years at the business, Ms Dineen has developed many of the staff training and development programmes leading and managing the team. Ms Trevisan Hunter has played a transformational role in marketing, promotion and business development over 22 years.
Ms Morrison said: “I feel very privileged to take on the role of CEO in such an inspiring business. We have all made a strong contribution to the growth of our attraction and hopefully to the whisky industry too, having each been recognised as a Keeper or Master of the Quaich.
“The whisky industry is packed full of inspiring and creative people and we like to celebrate equality in every aspect of what we do.”
