Cook joins team

Planning director for Davidson Chalmers

Davidson Chalmers, the commercial law firm, has appointed Jacqueline Cook as planning director. She will play a lead role alongside colleagues within the firm’s specialist teams.

Ms Cook joins from the planning law team at Pinsent Masons where she advised a diverse portfolio of clients including developers, local and national government, public bodies, statutory undertakers and funders.

A dual-qualified legal professional, she spent four years training and qualifying with Herbert Smith before moving to Edinburgh in 2008 to join Shepherd & Wedderburn.

Commenting on her appointment, Davidson Chalmers managing partner, Andrew Chalmers, said: “Jackie’s appointment is part of our on-going investment in great talent as we continue to grow our business.”
