New officer for adviser
Murphy Wealth expands in central Glasgow
The firm is taking 3,000 sq. ft. on the top floor of the art deco building, which will be developed into a collaborative, flexible and open-plan workspace for the firm and its clients.
Following a successful year, Murphy Wealth has increased its headcount by five to 15 employees, with the larger office space giving the firm room to double its headcount in the year ahead.
The move to Sutherland House marks the second relocation for the company in the past five years, after a move from its Ayrshire home in 2013, in a bid to access the larger talent and client pool.
Sutherland House, which recently underwent a £1.6 million revamp, has attracted a range of occupiers, including healthcare giant, Bupa, commercial property firms CBRE and GVA, and data and business solutions company, itelligence.
Murphy Wealth’s move was brokered by commercial property agents, Knight Frank.
