New client services manager

Mone makes switch from SE to SwarmOnline

Scottish mobile and web technology business, SwarmOnline, has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Simon Mone a client services manager.

Mr Mone joins from Scottish Enterprise where he was an innovation specialist advising senior management teams and boards across all business sectors on aspects of R&D, innovation and commercialisation of new products.

He is an economics graduate from Strathclyde University and holds post-graduate diplomas in information management and information technology with web technologies. He also completed the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Entrepreneurship Development Programme and formerly sat on the Scotland IS board representing SMEs.

SwarmOnline founder and managing director, Andrew Duncan, said: “At this stage of our growth and development I’m delighted to welcome someone of Simon’s background to the team.

“As well as his knowledge of the enterprise sector, he brings a wealth of experience of the digital world having been a director of his own agency for many years, designing and delivering strategies for clients such as Historic Scotland, British Council and Big Lottery Fund.”
