Sugar Daddy’s seeks funds for second bakery
Rising to the occasion: Sugar Daddy’s wants to pen a bigger bakery
Gluten-free bakery, Sugar Daddy’s, has launched a crowdfunding campaign to enable it to open a second, bigger bakery.
The Edinburgh business is hoping to raise £29,000 through the Kickstarter platform which runs until 30 April.
Sugar Daddy’s is offering rewards in the form of cakes, parties and cake baking lessons.
Owner JP Ranaldi, who opened the business with partner Amy two years ago, said: “Since opening we have seen our customer base grow faster than we ever anticipated, which is really exciting.
“However, we simply cannot keep up with demand, so a bigger contamination-free kitchen in a second bakery is the way forward.”
