Promotions unveiled at Cushman & Wakefield

Cushman & Wakefield has made a raft of senior promotions within its Scottish operation.

Alistair Thow (far left) of the global occupier services-facilities management team has been made partner along with Calum Cowe (also pictured) of the investment team.

A helicopter pilot in his spare time, Mr Thow has been with the business for the past two and a half years and looks after the Clydesdale and Yorkshire banks accounts and the corporate portfolio.

Mr Cowe, who joined in 2011, has worked on a number of high profile deals in recent months.

Three colleagues have also been promoted to associate level including Stuart Low, a member of the Investment Team; Laura Mitchell who works in PDS(Project Development Services)-Project Management Scotland and Douglas Bailey, PDS Building Consultancy.

Stuart Dorward, head of Scotland, said: “We have great talent within the business and to enable a number of promotions across different teams is testament to that and the personal development we offer.

“Calum has been with us since very early in his career and as one of our youngest partners at just 31, is a real inspiration to our graduate trainees and a prime example of what you can achieve with enough determination and hard work.

“Alistair on the other hand has brought a wealth of experience to the business having held senior roles at ISS and Serco and at one time ran his own aviation business.”
