Key time for organisation
Investment managers make switch to SIS
Social Investment Scotland (SIS) has made two key appointments.
Theresa Sharp (pictured) joins SIS as an investment manager following ten years in business banking, most recently with Lloyds Banking Group as a commercial relationship manager. Prior to Lloyds, Ms Sharp held roles with HSBC and RBS.
Brian Henderson (pictured) also joins the investment management team, having spent 30 years in the banking sector. He comes from RBS where he was a relationship director for SMEs in the east of Scotland and a business mentor for start-up organisations.
In their new roles at SIS, Ms Sharp and Mr Henderson will be supporting and advising the organisation’s growing portfolio of charities and social enterprises, enabling them to increase their financial sustainability and social impact in communities across Scotland.
Chief executive Alastair Davis, said: “We look forward to working with them and benefiting from their expertise as we continue building our offering for Scotland’s growing social enterprise and profit with purpose sectors.”
The appointments come at key time for SIS following the recent recruitment of Ken Barclay as vice-chairman.
