Russell takes marketing role at Criton Apps

Susan RussellCriton Apps has stepped up its expansion plans with the appointment of the former marketing manager of Festivals Edinburgh to spearhead its international sales drive. 

Susan Russell (pictured) has been integral to the promotion of Edinburgh as the Festival City globally for the past nine years.

As head of marketing she will be responsible for building the customer base at Criton, based at the Codebase incubator in Edinburgh. Her industry experience includes Women in Tourism, where she is founder and chairman, and VisitScotland. 

Ms Russell joins two new business development managers, Karina Ogunyemi and Sadiah Mir. 

The new appointments mean that Criton now employs 14 and expects to increase staff levels to 20 by the end of February.
