Disruption easing on network
Rail services resume after landslip repair
Rubble on the line caused by heavy rain
Update 10pm: ScotRail resumed running services after engineers repaired damage caused by a landslip at Winchburgh in West Lothian.
Some services were still cancelled because of trains and crew being in the wrong places, but ScotRail said they would gradually return to normal.
The line was covered in rubble following heavy rain, leaving travellers suffering two days of disruption.
ScotRail said it would only re-open the section between Linlithgow and Edinburgh when it was safe to do so,
Replacement buses were provided between Linlithgow and Edinburgh Park. Services between Edinburgh and Dunblane were also cancelled and replaced by buses.
