New owners: Angus and Shona Knight led an employee buyout
Audio-visual company Mediascape has transferred to employee ownership, with the founders retaining a 20% stake in the Glasgow business.
Mediascape was established in 2003 by Angus and Shona Knight who now have 24 employees.
The company designs, supplies, installs and maintains audio-visual and videoconferencing systems. Its clients include Glasgow and Strathclyde universities, Historic Scotland and the National Trust for Scotland.
The business forecasts £5 million revenue for the current year.
The Knights introduced Carole Leslie, an employee ownership specialist, to help with the transition to an employee-owned business.
