As firm expands in Stirling
New partners for Aberdein Considine
April Campbell: joins as partner
Aberdein Considine has hired April Campbell, a former associate at Jeffrey Aitken, and Karl Brown, a founding partner of Aberdeen legal business Murray & Brown, who will join the firm as partners in its family law team.
The recruits arrive as as the business expands its offices in Stirling, the first of the firm’s ‘new generation’ of high street premises, blending estate agency, legal and independent financial services.
Managing partner Jacqueline Law said: “Our expansion in Stirling underlines our commitment to the high street.
“The way that people choose a professional adviser is changing, particularly in estate agency, where some people have been lured by a veil of low fixed fees.”
The new Stirling office will be led by Anthony Quin and Philip Anderson, who joined Aberdein Considine following its 2014 merger with Muirhead Buchanan.
The firm has also made a number of senior appointments to help further establish it in the Forth Valley area.
Former Aitken Nairn Partner Phil Harris has joined the business as an associate.
