NI investor buys landmark asset
Wirefox adds City Park to Scottish portfolio
Former cigarette factory changes hands
Property investor Wirefox has added to its Scottish portfolio with the £41 million acquisition of a landmark office building in Glasgow.
The Northern Irish company has completed the purchase of City Park, a former cigarette factory which was converted to 294,000 sq ft of offices 15 years ago.
It is currently occupied to a variety of tenants.
Wirefox was advised by Scottish law firm MacRoberts and Derek Paterson of DPL, a specialist investment property advisor, alongside Belfast-based solicitors Davidson McDonnell.
The company has bought a number of Scottish properties including the Capella building and Rockford portfolio in Glasgow, and Silvan House in Edinburgh. It also acquired the Southergate Centre, a retail-led asset in Dumfries.
