Alexander takes new role at Anderson Strathern

Scottish legal firm Anderson Strathern has hired industry specialist Anne Marie Alexander, creating a new role of head of marketing & business development. 

Ms Alexander brings global brand experience from commercial giants Boots as well as professional services expertise from top tier accountancy and law firms, including Burness Paull.

She began her career as a classical brand marketer with The Observer newspaper in London and then moved to Boots Alliance with responsibility for global brands.

Arriving in Scotland, she worked as Brand & Marketing Manager at Baxters and then specialised in the professional services sector, working with Scottish firms, including Johnston Carmichael and most recently Burness Paull. 

Chairman of Anderson Strathern, Bruce Farquhar, said: “Anderson Strathern has had a strong financial year in 2016/2017 and is now targeting further growth in its key sectors. The hiring of an industry expert such as Anne Marie into a new role as Head of Marketing and Business Development is a demonstration of how seriously we take this.
