Loganair takes on Eastern for Tees Valley route

Aberdeen is to get a new connection with north east and eastern England when Loganair launches flights in October.

It will link Aberdeen with with Durham Tees Valley Airport and Norwich.

Eastern Airways already operates on the route.

Jonathan Hinkles (pictured), Loganair’s managing director said: “Creating a link between Aberdeen and Durham Tees Valley Airport is another important milestone in Loganair’s 55-year history and we’re thrilled to mark the occasion.”

The airline hopes to appeal to those working in the offshore industry. 

“Although we’re aware that a competitor already flies between Aberdeen and DVTA, we’re confident in growing this market,” he said.
