Key BBC Scotland channel editor quits
Ewan Angus (pictured) was tasked with a key role in developing the new channel as multi-platform commissioning editor.
Mr Angus has almost 30 years experience in broadcasting at the corporation in a career spanning comedy, drama, and sport.
He has been involved in commissioning or producing A History of Scotland, The Scheme, River City, Still Game and Limmy’s Show.
The new £30m channel will be launched in the Autumn next year and there will be an additional £20m a year for Scottish production focused on drama and factual programming as well as 80 jobs for journalists.
