US life sciences veteran joins Arrayjet

Joe KeeganArrayjet, the Edinburgh bio-printing technology company, has appointed a San Francisco-based biotechnology entrepreneur as non-executive director.

Dr Joe Keegan has more than 30 years of experience in life science businesses and serves on a number of other boards. 

As chief executive at ForteBio he raised $25 million, established product development and sales strategies that resulted in an annual revenue growth of 45%, and exited the company through its sale to Pall Corporation. 

During his nine-year tenure at Molecular Devices Corporation he grew the company’s revenues from $30m to $200m through internal growth and acquisitions.

Dr Iain McWilliam, CEO of Arrayjet, said: “For us to attract one of the most powerful names in the life sciences industry as a non-executive director speaks volumes for our international reach and development.

“Joe Keegan has demonstrated success after success in a long and remarkable career and will be an indispensable guide to the Arrayjet team as we move forward.
