Two senior associates for Morton Fraser

Melanie SchwindtSarah GilzeanScottish law firm Morton Fraser has appointed two senior associates, Melanie Schwindt (far left) and Sarah Gilzean.

Ms Schwindt, dual qualified in English and Scots law, joins the firm’s corporate practice from MBM Commercial.

She is set to be involved in supporting Morton Fraser’s ongoing sponsorship of the Converge Challenge, which works to nurture entrepreneurs through a development programme and company creation competition.

Her appointment brings the total number of dual qualified lawyers at Morton Fraser to 14, ensuring the firm is able to cater to clients’ needs throughout the UK.

Ms Gilzean joins the employment law team. She previously worked for HBJ Gateley (now Addleshaw Goddard) and the Equality and Human Rights Commission. She has acted in several high profile discrimination cases and her experience brings further strength in depth to one of the leading employment teams in Scotland.
