Boutique firm expands

Thomson seeks targets as new office opens

Glasgow-based Thomson Wealth Management, the boutique advisory firm, is on the look-out for acquisition opportunities as it unveils the next stage of its growth plans.

Established four years ago by Keith Thomson and Sonya Peace, the firm has moved into newly refurbished premises in Glasgow and has appointed Paul Moore as a director and Christina McEwan as a paraplanner.

The firm currently has £40 million under management.

Mr Thomson, director, said: “Our new offices will allow us to expand and even double in size and we are actively growing through client referrals and professional connections.  We are also on the look-out to acquire a firm of advisors with a similar ethos, service level and client base.”

The firm presently services clients from London to Lerwick and aims to provide the highest level of service to its clients.

Mr Thomson and Ms Pease are former members of RBS’s Private Banking division.

Mr Moore said: “I have known Keith for over 10 years – we are both highly experienced, but still relatively young with a good few decades of client service ahead of us – and I knew that we shared the same ethos.”
