Robertson Homes picked up the top prize at the Scottish Home Awards following a year in which it has expanded into north east England.

It was named House Builder of the year for companies building more than 150 units.

S1 Developments was winner of the house builder (less than 150 units) for the third successive year.

Five hundred leaders from the house building industry and their guests gathered at the Glasgow Hilton to celebrate a year of innovation and design across a range of sectors.

Hosted by the comedian Des Clarke, the awards received a record number of entries and were presented in 19 categories.

There was a special award for Lynne McNicoll, founder of the Ripple Retreat for young cancer patients which is supported by the Awards. The retreat opened last month on the banks of Loch Venacher near Callander.
