PR agency expands
Political adviser joins Citypress team
Rory Fletcher, head of Cohn & Wolfe’s political counsel team, is one of three recruits to the communications agency Citypress.
Mr Fletcher, who will be based in Edinburgh, joins as a director and will advise the firm’s clients on political and regulatory issues as part of broader corporate reputation programmes.
At Cohn & Wolfe he handled international brands across sectors including financial services, food and drink, supply chain, extractive industries and manufacturing.
Citypress said the move was part of its ongoing strategy to build additional specialisms around its core consultancy services.
Earlier this month it appointed Kirrie McNab, from Edinburgh agency Represent and Catriona Conway-Mortimer from Holyrood PR to its growing Edinburgh team.
Beth Nicol, who leads Citypress in Scotland, said: “These three appointments come during a period of significant growth for Citypress in Scotland.”
Mr Fletcher added: “It’s an exciting time to be joining the agency and an interesting time in politics.”
Manchester-headquartered Citypress has expanded rapidly in recent years and now has more than 80 consultants operating across its network of offices, which includes Edinburgh, London, Birmingham and Liverpool.
The agency represents brands such as Lloyds Banking Group, Coca Cola, Aldi and Scottish Gas.
