Insights adds tech expertise with Dogfi.sh deal
Dogfi.sh has been a strategic technology partner for Insights Learning and Development (ILD) for over five years.
Insights is one of Dundee’s fastest growing companies, with average growth of about 17% a year over the last two decades. Annual group revenue for 2016/2017 was £44 million.
Andy Lothian, pictured, will take on the role of group chief executive, taking overall responsibility for the leadership of both businesses which will operate independently.
He said: “Insights has seen excellent growth over the last few years, achieving around 30% growth in group revenue in 2016/17. This acquisition comes at really important time as we seek to create a sustainable and scalable global organisation that can continue to grow for many years to come.”
He added that bringing Dogfi.sh into the Insights Group reduces risk and establishes a vital source of technology expertise.
Dogfi.sh co-founders Ross Tuffee and Paul Burrowes will remain with the business. Greig Johnston, currently chief technology officer in Insights Learning and Development, will take on the role of CEO for Dogfi.sh Mobile.
Mr Tuffee said: “Both Paul and I are very excited to be joining the Insights Group and about the opportunity that this creates.”
