Ex-rugby pro teams up with Robertson

Ross McNultyInfrastructure group Robertson has appointed a former rugby pro as development director in its commercial property business. 

Ross McNulty – who represented Scotland at various levels of the game – joins Robertson Property from Valad Europe, where he spent ten years working in UK real estate. 

He will have a Scotland-wide remit and is the third director-level appointment at the company within the last 14 months. The growing business is currently focused on hotels, student accommodation and PRS, in addition to roadside retail/leisure and mixed-use development.

Will Hean, managing director, said: “Ross brings technical and commercial experience that will be hugely beneficial to us. Our priority is to create more high-quality tenant-led developments in Scotland over the coming years and this appointment will help us achieve that.”

Mr McNulty, who studied at Edinburgh Napier University, holds an MSc in Property and Construction Management and a BSc (Hons) in Building Engineering and Management.

He said: “It is a real honour to join the business as it celebrates its 50th year, and I look forward to working with Will to grow Robertson Property in Scotland.”
