McFadyen appointed partner at Blackadders
Ms McFadyen joined Blackadders in May 2015 and has more than 15 years’ experience in corporate & commercial law.
She said: “The firm has entered an extremely exciting period of growth – particularly over the last 12 months – and I very much look forward to being part of its long-term future.”
Blackadders now has 27 partners and more than 250 staff across its offices in Aberdeen, Arbroath, Dundee, Edinburgh, Forfar, Glasgow and Perth.
Managing partner, Johnston Clark, said: “It gives us great satisfaction to appoint Susan as our latest partner to Blackadders. She has been an excellent addition to our business since joining us in 2015.”
The firm announced a number of other appointments: Pamela Gaffar, Louise Patterson, Jennifer Douglas, Samantha Thomson and Joanne Todd have been promoted to associate solicitors.
Gillian Cunningham, Alistair Johnston and Fraser Morrison have been promoted to senior solicitors.
Hayley Willison and Stephen Annis are now also fully qualified paralegals in the firms’ residential conveyancing team. Caitlin Houliston has also completed a specialist paralegal qualification, bespoke to residential conveyancing.
