Law firm relocates
Lindsays expands into 100 Queen Street
Scottish legal firm Lindsays, has taken the 7,845 sq ft third floor of 100 Queen Street, Glasgow on a 15 year FRI lease.
The building was refurbished last year and provides 54,000 sq ft of offices over seven floors above retail space on the ground floor.
Lindsays will join whisky company Edrington Group which moved into the upper four floors in December. Developer Esson Properties added two rooftop levels to the building which is now more than 70% let.
Ken McInnes, office agency partner at letting agent Ryden, said there were “good levels of interest in the remaining space.”
Alasdair Cummings, managing partner at Lindsays, commented: “Lindsays expanded into Glasgow in 2008 and since then we have doubled in size.
“We have ambitious plans to continue our growth strategy in Glasgow and our new office at 100 Queen Street will provide an excellent platform as we seek to realise these ambitions.”
Ryden advised Esson Properties. Knight Frank acted for Lindsays.
