Atlantis makes switch to Edinburgh Quay
Atlantis Resources has expanded and relocated its Edinburgh operation to Fountainbridge, in a deal brokered by CuthbertWhite, Knight Frank, and Mhairi Jarvis.
The renewable energy company has acquired 3,896 sq. ft. of Grade A office space at Edinburgh Quay2, moving from its 2,650 sq. ft. accommodation at 90A George Street which is spread over three levels.
Edinburgh Quay2’s tenants include business advisory firm, RSM; international law firm, Pinsent Masons; and Companies House. Tesco leases the ground floor retail unit. The building is now 84% let.
The agents said the remaining space is attracting interest from a number of potential suitors.
Toby Withall, office agency partner at Knight Frank, said: “There’s a renewed level of activity in the Edinburgh market, with more viewings and transactions across the board.
“The amount of city centre space on offer to occupiers is fast diminishing and, with no new-build space coming onto the market for some time, availability is reaching near-record lows.
“Fountainbridge is coming on leaps and bounds, with further progress soon likely on the significant regeneration schemes next door.”
