A first tenant is being lined up to take a floor of a newly-refurbished block in the centre of Glasgow.

Colin Mackenzie of Knight Frank said there was healthy interest in 58 Waterloo Street which was officially launched at a reception for guests.

“We hope to conclude something soon,” he said.

The building provides 31,068 sq ft of Grade A office space over eight levels, each comprising about 3,800 sq ft. It was given a makeover by owners Castleforge Partners (formerly Mercer Real Estate) and includes a golf simulator in the basement and a roof terrace.

Rachael Pittaway from Castleforge said:  “It’s great news that we can announce we’ve achieved practical completion of 58 Waterloo Street.”

Joint letting agents are Knight Frank and Cushman and Wakefield.  The quoting rent is £20 per sq ft.
