Sole takes chair at AM Bid Services
Former rugby international David Sole, now a management coach, has been appointed non-executive chairman of AM Bid Services.
The Lothians based company, assists local, regional and national organisations with delivering business growth.
Managing director Andrew Morrison, said: “We are delighted to welcome David to our board. He will undoubtedly challenge the team while offering advice based on unrivalled experience.”
Mr Sole added: “Working with senior clients and high profile businesses across all sectors in the UK, I am aware of the processes that have become such an important part of growing any business and indeed I have grown two B2B businesses of my own.
“Since meeting Andrew and learning about AM Bid Services, I have been very impressed with the way in which it has grown.

Me Sole joined the world of executive coaching in January 2001 following a successful career with United Distillers and Diageo.
He won 44 caps for Scotland and three for the1989 British and Irish Lions. Highlights included winning a Grand Slam in 1990 and leading Scotland to the semi-final of the Rugby World Cup in 1991.
He was one of only two external trustees of the HBOS Foundation and was a board member of sportscotland for eight years.
Previous positions have included roles as chairman of the board of governors of Cargilfield School and non-executive director of Kilchoman Distillery.
