Senior appointment at practice

New role at LBA for architect Jones

Gareth JonesArchitecture and design studio LBA has appointed senior architectural designer Gareth Jones to focus on the Edinburgh practice’s private clients and commercial residential projects.

He worked at Richard Murphy Architects and has directed a number of domestic building projects such as the restoration and conversion of Donaldson’s School building and Gate Lodges in Edinburgh into 112 luxury apartments.

Lynsay Bell, managing director of LBA said: “Gareth’s appointment is testament to our commitment to grow the business further. We have admired Gareth’s work for many years and delighted that he’s joined our team as he brings a wealth of design expertise and industry knowledge.”

Mr Jones added: “It’s an exciting time to join the business.” 

Founded in 2012 by Lynsay Bell, LBA has a creative team of eight architectural designers and studio manager.
