Law firm doubles space
Gilson Gray expands as growth accelerates
Gilson Gray has expanded into its neighbouring four storey building in Rutland Square, increasing its capital operations by more than 5,000 sq ft.
Following on the back of the expansion of its Glasgow office in 2016, the move will enable the firm to cater for further additions to its team, made possible by surpassing its targets.
High profile acquisitions, which include the recruitment of the entire experienced commercial litigation team from Morisons Solicitors, a residential conveyancing team from Warners Solicitors, as well as notable growth within its own teams have contributed to the growing headcount.
Glen Gilson (pictured), managing partner at Gilson Gray, said: “We are fortunate that the support of our clients and the Scottish business community has enabled us to grow so quickly and safely.
“The Edinburgh based expansion, together with our similar move in Glasgow, affords the firm the ability to significantly expand our market share.
“We believe that we are leading the growth curve without requiring the assistance of an English parent.
“Our turnover and profit have grown significantly over the first three financial years.”
