Tourism award for the Mains of Taymouth

The five star Mains of Taymouth Country Estate & Golf Course in Kenmore, Perthshire has been voted one of Scotland’s best self-catering destinations.
This prestigious award winning luxury Estate was presented with the runner up award in the self-catering category at the recent Scottish Outdoor and Leisure Awards held at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel.
Mains of Taymouth Country Estate & Golf Course is located within 120 acres on the banks of Loch Tay and is home to an award-winning 9-hole golf course, Courtyard Restaurant and Brasserie, delicatessen, Riding Stables, Trekking Centre & all weather school.
General manager Pauline McLaren accepted the award on the night.
Commenting on the win, she said: “The award is testament to the team’s hard work and recognition of the Estate’s unique location and facilities.
