Crowfund campaign launched

Social good firm fund raises on Indiegogo

sustainablyA company created by a mother and daughter to inspire sustainable living and giving is hoping to raise £10,000 through a crowdfunding campaign.

Sustainably, a real time social responsibility platform, has launched the exercise with Indiegogo to take its product to market.

Based in Edinburgh and established last year by Loral Quinn and her daughter Eishel (pictured), the firm’s technology links good causes with consumers’ cashless transactions at the point of sale.

Busy shoppers have the convenience of automatically rounding-up cashless transactions to the nearest pound in real time and giving the spare change to their chosen charities.

Loral Quinn, chief executive, believes that by making it fun to give something back it will encourage people to give more.

“We are part of a community of change-makers who want to make a difference to our world every day, be inspired and connected with like-minded people around us and have an impact just by living our busy lives,” she said.

Sustainably employs 16 and if it reaches its target on Indiegogo it plans to hire six more in the next 12 months.

The annual value of the company’s target market is estimated to be more than £10 billion.
