PwC partner co-opted

Roxburgh to join VisitScotland board

caroline-roxburghCaroline Roxburgh, a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, has been co-opted to the board of VisitScotland and will chair the audit and risk committee. 

Ms Roxburgh is a chartered accountant with more than 30 years’ experience advising boards in a range of industry sectors. 

She is a non-executive director at Edinburgh International Festival and Scottish Ballet where she chairs the audit & risk committee.

In addition, Ms Roxburgh is a member of PwC UK’s supervisory board, the governance body of PwC UK’s partnership, where she is a member of the audit & risk committee, the strategy & governance committee, and a member of PwC UK’s Risk Council.

Lord Thurso, chairman of VisitScotland, said: “I am delighted to welcome Caroline Roxburgh to the Board of VisitScotland.

“She brings with her a wealth of business experience, across a range of industries, to the role of chair of the audit and risk committee and will complement the strengths of the existing members.”

The appointment will be reviewed after 12 months.
