Simon Peck, managing director at IML, said: “Having someone with Alan’s credibility and sector experience is invaluable to our business.

“As someone who’s been involved with the business since its initial set-up and as a consultant thereafter, he already has an established relationship with our team and fully understands our strategic approach.”

Mr Campbell succeeds David Jones, who completes his tenure after almost seven years.

Mr Peck added: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank David Jones for his contribution to IML. He has helped us get to our current position of strength and laid the groundwork for future expansion.”
