Last gasp Laidlaw kicks Scotland to victory

Greig Laidlaw’s last-minute penalty gave Scotland victory and took them above their opponents into the top eight of world rugby.
Laidlaw and Nicolas Sanchez scored penalties in a scrappy first half. Matias Orlando and Sean Maitland converted tries in an improved second 40 minutes.
With a minute to play Scots fly-half Finn Russell saw his drop-goal charged down but the captain’s penalty snatched the win.
The World Cup draw takes place next May and top eight nations will comprise the highest seeding pots.
