Dundee listed building sold in £800,000 deal

courthouse-squareShepherd Chartered Surveyors has sold an imposing listed building in Dundee city centre to the Hussain Partnership for £800,000.

Courthouse Square is a category B building comprising 18,700 sq ft over five floors on a corner site.

It was built in 1927 as a hotel and subsequently used as a Sheriff Court, Sheriff Clerks Office and for many years as a telephone exchange prior to its acquisition and refurbishment in the mid 1990’s to create the current office facility.

It is currently let to Nat West Bank,  Simpson Marwick, Victim Support and Wise Group for a passing rent of £94,610 pa.
