Contract wins for Perth firm

CCTV firm sees uplift from £400,000 deals

paul-gibsonOne of Scotland’s CCTV specialists has won contracts worth in excess of £400,000 which will keep it on course for a 30% rise in turnover.

Perth-based Scottish Communications Group has picked up work for the Scottish Exhibition Centre, SSE Hydro Complex, River Clyde Homes, Forth Ports, BrewDog, NHS Grampian and Celtic Football club.

These latest wins are predicted to boost the company’s annual turnover to £3 million by the end of this year and represents a significant step towards SCG’s goal to grow its overall market share in Scotland.

The new contracts will see the company install major CCTV technology upgrades, including 64 brand new high definition cameras at the Scottish Exhibition Centre and 88 new cameras at SSE’s Hydro Complex.

Both complexes will also benefit from cutting edge image recognition technology to identify and detect potential threats, as well as front end recording and storage devices networked back to fully integrated control rooms.

Paul Gibson (pictured), managing director, said: “Over the last year, we have continued to invest in new technology and increased staff numbers to support this period of expansion. We look forward to continuing to grow our presence across Scotland.”
