New recruit for bank
Bell adds ‘grey hairs’ to Hampden team
Hampden & Co, the UK’s newest private bank, has added two more experienced industry figures to its ranks.
Alastair Hazell, formerly of Coutts and also Clydesdale, joined last month, and David Bell (pictured) joins from the Co-op Bank after a 40 year career with Bank of Scotland and Alliance & Leicester. Graeme Morris joined from Clydesdale earlier in the year.
Graeme Hartop, CEO, said: “We are delighted to be attracting top industry talent such as Graeme, Alastair and David to join the team.”
Mr Bell said: “There is a culture of ‘valuing the grey hair’ here, which slightly tragically works very well for me.”
Hampden & Co opened in June 2015 and is chaired by Ray Entwistle, the former CEO and chairman of Adam & Co.
