Heasley steps up to CFO at Weir Group
Mr Heasley (pictured) has worked with Weir since 2008 and been a member of the group executive since 2014 as divisional managing director of the Flow Control division.
He joined Weir as group financial controller and has since held a number of financial and operational roles across the business. His previous experience also includes finance positions with ScottishPower, PwC and Andersen. He is a chartered accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
Weir Group chairman Charles Berry commented: “I am delighted to welcome John to the board as chief financial officer. He brings a broad range of experience to the role, including significant financial and operational success in several roles within the Group. I am certain he will play a big part in Weir’s future success.”
John Heasley succeeds Jon Stanton who was appointed Weir Group chief dxecutive on 1 October.

Under his leadership, Flow Control achieved significant operational and financial improvement. A recruitment process is under way to appoint a new divisional managing director of Weir Flow Control and a further announcement will be made in due course.
