Mr Hair, who spent nine years at Turcan Connell, latterly as head of financial planning, joins at the end of the month. Before that he was at Barclays Wealth, and prior to that he had a spell at Scottish Widows. He was also an account manager with Herald Newspapers.
During his time with PwC’s investment advisory business in London he advised high net worth and ultra high net worth clients. He was also the firm’s FCA Committee chair and was a member of the investment committee.
He helped develop PwC’s private and family office service.
At Turcan Connel he was executive director and financial planning head. He left the firm in 2013.
