Reception at the Grange
Stockbridge traders raise funds for LifeCare

Traders from the Stockbridge area of Edinburgh gathered at the Grange Club for a charity event and to enjoy some of the produce from the area.
Thirty prizes worth £1,000 were raffled from a range of businesses including the Stockbridge Restaurant, Hectors, Hamiltons, Good Brother wine bar, Armstrong the fishmonger, George Mewes, Kenji Sushi, Street Box Thai and the cheesemaker I J Mellis. The event raised £1,500.
More than 100 local traders and residents attended the reception. The Grange provided the venue free of charge.
Ms Morgan said: “I can’t thank the local community enough for their support and generous donations of prizes, raffle ticket purchases and support.
“This event was a great opportunity to bring Stockbridge locals and business owners together to enjoy some fine food and drink in The Grange Club’s stunning surrounds while raising funds for a local charity which has just celebrated its 75th anniversary.”

The event was in aid of LifeCare which helps older people become independent and was organised by Stockbridge Local, run by Susannah Morgan.
An auction of a painting of Arran by Tommy Fitchett raised £260. The winning bid came from Harry Crombie of property management company Crombie & Co. The auctioneer was JoJo Hernandez, owner of Lilies & Dreams.
